Book Review of: The Faeries Oracle by Brian Froud and Jessica Macbeth

I’d been longing to get these oracle cards and book for ages and I was delighted to receive it as a gift recently.

This set comes with 66 fantastic oracle cards illustrated by Brian Froud and a beautiful illustrated hardback handbook written by Jessica Macbeth.

The cards are wonderful and typical Brian Froud – some of the faeries depicted are beautiful and some definitely are not! For me, these are the closest you will get to authentic fairy illustrations, the real deal, what I believe fairies and elementals truly look like.

The reader is encouraged right from the start to handle the cards and get to know them; see how each one makes you feel, before attempting a reading.

The book is intriguing and a joy to read, giving you guidance about the cards, faeries, suggested spreads and a description and meaning of each card. It’s a terrific read on it’s own and quite unlike the tiny, bland books that usually accompany tarot cards.

I found this set amazing and quite magical. I have a feeling I will be turning to it quite a lot. Highly recommended.

Rating: 10/10
