I'm no expert on early Americana or antiques, but the fancy finials and spindles on the child's crib is a little too grand for a Prairie Home, I would think. Whomever set up the "staging" was a little careless in choosing the proper furniture for this historical home and the era. I thought the Prairie style was more simple, plain and rustic.
And what makes you think it's a Civil War Spirit? Most likely it's an early homeowner's spirit who's not happy with such fanciful things.
