Energy or Trickery?

Looking north down our driveway at about 11ish(pm). The only light source is neighbor's front porch light, a 60watt bulb. You might say it is reflection....of what? Notice how clear gravel is closer to photographer and how blurry the photo gets closer to porch. It was a clear March night and no movement about except us. This was taken mid-town Tucson AZ, in a neighborhood steeped in violent/tragic history and between two historic forts (Ft. Presidio and Ft. Lowell). I have several pictures of same porch with different energy.
