I came across your story just tonight playing around on the computer. I thought I would add a comment after reading. I am a musican and play several instruments. But main is the piano. I have 3 different pianos, one being a victorian pianoforte from England, from the mid 1800s. I bought the piano from a antique store that was closing down. Thinking how cool it looked with candal holders and the decorative woodwork on it.
Well the piano is playable and I brought it home to put in my music room for collection of musical instruments. Well, I had it about a year and a few months before I started noticing things about it.
I would leave the key cover closed a lot, and somedays, it would be open, thinking "I didnt open it lately...."After the 3rd time, I knew something was up about it.
Well only a few months ago I was repainted my hallway, and a friend of mine was helping me. Well I went upstairs to get something and the musicroom door was closed. When I was coming down the steps she was coming up. She was tearing up. It frightened me to see this. She took me downstairs, not a word yet. Shes like did you hear that? But I heard nothing. She swore she heard piano music from the room. When we went into the dark room and turned on the light. The old piano was open, and when I went up to it and played a scale, she said it was that sound. I never heard it by itself.
We didnt finish painting that night LOL
But I know what you mean with haunted things.
I dont know much history about the piano. I asked the antique store about it, and they said it came from a estate sale and the person who had it was elderly. So not much is known about it. The piano is attracting to people as well, almost everyone goes to it before the other pianos in the room. Also a friend that deals with ghost activity, suspects its a little boy haunting it that died during world war 2.
Its just a beautiful piece that suits my house, and like the idea of finally having a interesting instrument.
So just to let you know, your not alone in the ghostly muscial world LOL! Thanks for telling the story, helps others with their own.

Hi Angela,
I'm no expert on orbs but based on your story I find this photo very interesting. Since the age of 13 I've believed in the spiritual world. My older sister lived in a haunted house for many years. A house that was bought and sold far too many times because of the activity that occured inside. I experienced it myself and it was truly unsettling to say the least. The cold draft you mentioned is all too familiar to me. That combined with the orb and the old piano says it all. I would try getting more photos around this piano or even around the house. Maybe you'll get
more orbs in the next photo or maybe not. All in all, I feel that some of those whom have passed on like to hold on to things that were once theirs. In my sister's case we found out that an elderly gentleman had died in the house.
He was a recovered alcoholic when he passed away.
Long story short..my sister had alot of parties where everyone drank and whenever she did this the spirit would act out. The house was blessed by a priest later on, then sold, then bought, then sold, etc.. I think anyone who can capture
