No one wants to rent the late Heath Ledger's pad - it's too spooky.

His palatial digs in SoHo where he accidentally OD-ed has been taken off the market.

No one wanted to drop $26,000 per month to live in a crime scene where The Dark Knight's Joker offed himself.

The 3 bedroom loft at 419 Broome Street has been on the rental block since July but no one's bit.

A rep for the rental agent said the 4,400 square foot apartment told the NY Post the death house is "temporarily off the market."

Maybe potential renters heard ghostly Heath's maniacal laugh booming "Why so chic?"

Meanhwile TDK execs are tub thumping Heath for an Oscar as well as Best Picture and Director nods for the Bat flick come Oscar time. The film reopens in theatres in January to jumpstart the ballyhoo.
