Pirate House Savannah, GA

This picture was taken on August 10th, 2011 in Savannah, GA at the Pirate House. I took the picture because the local legend states that a pirate known as Captain Flint died in the second story room of the Pirate House. You can see the image on the bottom right pane of the window. It also appears to have a hat as well if you zoom in on the picture a bit. I've been studying this photo for the last 3 days and I keep thinking it might be dirt on the window, but I don't think it is especially with the image of the hat. I also took a picture on the other side of the same room (2nd pic) and you can see a light orb on the far right window. Keep in mind my flash did not go off. Flint is said to have died in Savannah, shouting "Darby M'Graw - fetch aft the rum...." His death was said in the book to have been caused by the effects of rum. The inscription on the map suggests that he died in 1754. |
