Spirit at Devil's Den

Peculiar photo of a "spirit" wedged in the crevice of a rock at Devil's Den, Gettysburg, PA. Can't be human as it would be physically impossible to slip into this tiny space. He's hatless and wearing brown clothing. Don't know what to make of it; perhaps he's forever trapped where he first took refuge during the battle? Taken with a pocket Nikon E4600.
