The Ghost Lights of Venice

This picture was taken in August 2006, on a trip to Venice, Italy. My aunt and I were playing around, looking pretentious with our fancy wine, on the balcony of our hotel. For some reason, I did not notice the strange lights in this photo until just now, nearly two years later. I thought maybe they just were some fluky reflection, but there are three different streaks in the three different directions (the two up top and one on my leg; the upper left corner may be a continuation of one of the skinny top one). Also, I know it wasn't any sort of thing from prolonged exposure, because the camera is really cheap. However, a picture taken shortly after shows nothing...

Is this activity, or just a fluke...?
